The first full-length album from a young Ukrainian band manifested itself previously by a number of gigs. From the first tones it becomes obvious that Crypt Of Silence follow the traditions of doom death metal, moreover, they are oriented to the classical work by Mourning Beloveth «The Sullen Sulcus» taking their inspiration from this masterpiece. Rejecting keyboards the musicians concentrate on solid rhythmic guitar riffs expressing the original raw and sullen power of doom death metal, with addition of guitar solos and clean guitar strings interludes to complete the impression from the music.
“Beyond Shades” will become a precious present for the fans of old school doom death metal.
